Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) is the UK’s leading bus and coach manufacturer, employing around 2,000 people at facilities in the UK, continental Asia and North America. The company provides vehicles to the likes of Stagecoach, First Group and Abellio and are the fastest growing bus and coach builder in Western Europe.

Q-Pulse was initially identified by ADL to manage their Business Management System including Document Control, Calibration, Internal Audits and Corrective Action Management. The bus company implemented Q-Pulse Enterprise, replacing their previous version of the solution and providing them with several databases for their business and compliance requirements. Working with Ideagen’s Customer Service team and their new Enterprise product, ADL quickly started to see real benefit – such as a central repository for all Supplier issues on a Group wide basis in a dedicated Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Database. This meant that – for the first time – a common approach was applied to the ADL supply base in both the notification and resolution of supplier related quality issues.
